Design and Display

Made of plastic, the build quality feels decent for the price. It’s lightweight at 182g. The 6.5-inch HD+ LCD is average with pale colors and low maximum brightness levels. Viewing angles could have been better.

Performance

Powered by the Unisoc T612 chip, the Narzo 50i Prime is suitable for basic tasks like calls, texts, social media, etc. Heavier apps see noticeable lag. Realme UI Go is light on resources. 3GB RAM works okay for basic multitasking.

Cameras

The single 8MP rear camera takes average pictures in sunlight. A 5MP front shooter is just about enough for video calls. Video recording is capped at 1080p30fps.

Battery Life

The Realme Narzo 50i Prime 5000mAh battery keeps things running for close to 2 days with light usage. 10W charging is inadequate though.

Verdict

Priced at Rs. 5,999, the Realme Narzo 50i Prime appeals to those on a very tight budget. It offers the basics well for calls/texts. Average cameras and moderate performance are expected at this price point. Only consider it if looking for an extremely affordable 4G phone.
