The C55 has a sleek glass and plastic design that feels quite premium. At 189.5g, it’s comfortably lightweight. The 6.72-inch LCD screen has narrow bezels and an FHD+ resolution for crisp visuals. With a 90Hz refresh rate, interfaces feel noticeably smoother.

Performance and Hardware

Powering the Realme C55 is the Helio G88 chipset along with up to 8GB RAM for smoother multitasking. I didn’t notice any lag during regular use. Gaming performance is decent at medium graphics too. Storage options go up to 256GB.

Cameras

The main 64MP rear camera captures a good amount of details in daylight shots. Front 8MP selfies come out sharp. Video recording maxes out at 1080p60 which is good. Low-light photos could have been better.

Software and Battery Life

The C55 runs clean Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box. Battery life is great thanks to the 5000mAh unit which easily lasted over a day on a single charge with moderate usage. 33W fast charging tops it up quickly too.

Verdict

At its starting price of around Rs. 8,870, the Realme C55 offers excellent value with its smooth display, capable hardware, and long-lasting battery. It’s a dependable smartphone for general use without burning a hole in your pocket. Those prioritizing performance over other aspects should consider it.
